OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Continuance of ad-hoc appointments in PA Grade of CSSS - regarding.

   The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s O.M. of even no.dated 11.6.2013 whereby Cadre Units were permitted to continue the ad-hoc appointments in the PA Grade of CSSS upto 31.12.2013 and to say that the continuation of the ad-hoc appoìntments in the PA Grade made by the Cadre Units has been reviewed in this Department. Since availability of regular PAs against SLY-2012 of PA Grade through normal modes of recruitrnent (LDCE and SQ) prescribed under the CSSS Rules is likely to take some more time, it has been decided that the period of ad-hoc appointments of those PAs who have already been working as PAs on ad-hoc basis may be extended upto 30th June, 2014 or till regular PAs become available, whichever is earlier.

Subject :- Continuation of ad-hoc appointment in the grade of Assistant of CSS-regarding.

   The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s OM of even number dated 21.12.2012 on the subject mentioned above, vide which Cadre Units were permitted to continue ad-hoc appointments in the grade of Assistant upto 30.06.2013. Further continuance of these appointments has been reviewed in this Department and it has been decided that the period of the ad-hoc appointment of those UDCs of CSCS who are working as Assistants of CSS on ad-hoc basis may be extended upto 31.12.2013 or till regular Assistants become available, whichever is earlier.

Subject :- Continuation of ad-hoc appointments in PS Grade of CSSS — reg.

   The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s OM No. 4/2/2011-CS-II dated 8.11.2011 and O.M. of even number dated 29.12.2011 on the subject mentioned above and to say that further continuance of the ad-hoc appointments has been reviewed in this Department. Since availability of regular PS of CSSS through normal modes of recruitment prescribed under the CSSS Rules is likely to take some more time, it has been decided with the approval of the competent authority that the tenure of ad-hoc appointments in the PS Grade of CSSS be extended for a further period upto 30.09.2012 or till regular PS of CSSS become available, whichever is earlier.

   2. Other terms and conditions mentioned in the OM of even number dated 31.05.2006 will remain unchanged.
