   KV Sangathan has announced the corrigendum pertaining to the new pattern of KV School uniform.

   Errata or Misprint has been made in the detailed annexure of new pattern of KV School uniform which was published in the minutes of BOG held on 18th May 2012. It has now been corrected and published the details of changes by the KVS. We have reproduced the corrigendum and given below for your information…

   Approval of corrigendum with regard to item No.3 of 92nd Meeting of the board of governers of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan held on 18th May, 2012 –Matter pertaining to the new pattern of uniform in Kendriya Vidyalayas.

 

   The Board approved corrigendum with regard to item No.3 of 92nd meeting of the BOG, KVS held on 18th May, 2012 on matter pertaining to the new pattern of uniform in Kendriya Vidyalayas as under :-

NEW PATTERN OF UNIFORM FOR KENDRIYA VIDYALAYAS

All Kendriya Vidyalayas shall have a common uniform. The following patterns of uniforms are prescribed.

BOTTOM WEAR Trousers plain grey strait cut.	SENIOR GIRLS (MIDDLE AND SECONDARY)SHIRT Blue, grey, White and Red checkered Normal shirt collar contrasting collar stand over placket and sleeve edges. SENIOR GIRLS KURTI (Woollen) Blue, Grey, White and Red checkered Mandarin collar with front opening above the waist full sleeve edges and collar in red side slits with Waist Coat BOTTOM WEAR Trousers plain grey strait cut. CARDIGAN Navy Blue full sleeved/half sleeved with red lining.

 

ALL CLASSES FOR PHE	House wise T Shirts with white collars with the colour options of Blue, Green, Red and Sun Yellow and Navy Blue Track pants with shite lining for both boys and girls.
SHOES	Common shoes for all days for both boys and girls. No canvas shoes. Grey socks with red lining for summer. Navy blue socks with red lining for winter.
TIE	Navy blue with woven monogram.
BELT	Blue and Grey knitted fabric belt with monogram on the buckle.
HEAD GEAR FOR THE SIKH BOYS	Trouser matching Turban with red colour fifty.
SCARF FOR MUSLIM GIRLS	Grey colour scarf matching with the bottom wear with red hem on the corners.
HAIR ACCESSORIES FOR GIRLS	Red ribbon or hair bands can be used if required.

Kendriya Vidyalayas Adopt New Uniform.

   The new uniform for Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan students was released, here today. The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan caters to the educational needs of about 10.7 lakh boys and girls studying in various classes from classes I-XII across the country and abroad. The KVS is completing 50 years and on the eve of its golden jubilee, KVS has introduced its new uniform pattern for the Kendriya Vidayalaya students from the academic session 2012-13.
