Subject: - Regarding annual Increase to the employees engaged on contract basis.

Sir,

   In continuation to this department letter of even number dated 18-01-2012, I am directed to say that clarifications are being sought by various departments regarding rounding off 3% annual increase in the contractual emoluments to next multiple of 10.

   It is clarified that the rate of annual increase to a contract appointee may be given @3% of the minimum of pay band plus grade pay in terms of FD's orders dated 18-01-2012. This annual increase is determined at the time of initial appointment and not on progressive contractual amount and the same need not be rounded off to the next multiple of 10.

   These instructions may be brought to the notice of all concerned under your administrative control for strict compliance.
