   Reference this Ministrys letter of even number dated 02.08.2012 reducing the lower age limit for induction of Trackmen in PB-1 Rs.5200.20200 GP Rs. 1800 to Workshops. Traffic and Commercial departments against 10% quota with 50% seniority and against 40% quota on bottom seniority from 45 years to 40 years. It was also decided that the matter will be revieved after 06 months.

OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Nomination of Stenographers Grade ‘D’/PA(ad-hoc) for appointment to the Grade of PA of CSSS for the Select List Year — 2011 on regular basis under the Zoning Scheme for Seniority Quota (SQ) — regarding.

   The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s O.M. of even number dated 30/9/2013 wherein 59 Stenographers Grade ‘D' PA(Ad-hoc) were considered for appointment/promotion to the PA Grade of CSSS on regular basis under Zoning Scheme on their inclusion in the Select List Year- 2011(SQ). In this regard, all the Cadre Units were requested to forward a copy of the appointment orders of the concerned officials and to ensure that the officials who have been nominated out of their Cadre Units are relieved within 45 days from the date of issue of this O.M. to take up the new posting in the allocated Cadre Units. However, despite a lapse of considerable time, this Department have not received the relieving/joining orders of the officials whose names appear in the Annexure to this O.M.

Sub:- Grant of another instalment of Dearness Relief to the freedom fighters and their eligible dependants under the Swatantrata Sainik Samman Pension (SSSP) Scheme, 1980, w.e.f. 01.08.2013.
 
Sir,
I am directed to refer to this Ministry's letter No. 08/08/97-FF(P) dated 16th / 20th August 1997 wherein it was decided that central samman pension be linked with the price index in an appropriate manner.

2. Subsequently, in consultation with the Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure and after taking into consideration the All India Consumer Price Index (AICPI) for Industrial Workers (IW) in June, 1997 as the base, Dearness Relief @7% of the pension or dependent family pension was sanctioned w.e.f. 1st August 1998 vide Ministry of Home Affairs letter No. 08/08/97-FF(P) dated 14th October 1998.
