Sub: Implementation  of the recommendation  of the 5th State Pay Commission regarding revision of the pay scale of the post of Tailoring Instructors  of the Department  of Social Welfare.

PREAMBLE:

   The 5th State Pay Commission in its Final Report (II  Volume) had interalia recommended revision of  pay scale of  the post of  Tailoring Instructors of  the Department  of Social Welfare.

   In Government Order dated 14.08.2008 read at (3) above, Government had rejected the recommendation  of the 5th State Pay Commission for revision of the pay scale of the post of Tailoring Instructors  of the Department  of Social Welfare.

Preamble:
 
    As per Rule 112(3) read with Rule 113(5) of K.C.S.Rs., there is a provision to carry forward the leave at the credit of a Government servant at the close of the previous year to the next half year, subject to the condition that the accumulation of such leave on account of carry forward plus the credit for the half year does not exceed 240 days.  Rule  118 A (1) of K.C.S.Rs. provides for sanction of cash  equivalent to the leave salary for EL, if any, at the credit on the date of retirement of a Government  servant , who retires on superannuation, subject to a maximum of 240 days. Further, as per the existing provisions under Rule 118(2) of K.C.S.Rs., a Government servant may surrender EL not exceeding 30 days out of the leave at his credit once in a block period of two years and receive a cash equivalent of the leave salary.
