ORDER:- 

 Government has decided to grant Adhoc Bonus equivalent to 30 days emoluments on a base of 30 days a month to all regular and temporary Government employees, employees of Local Bodies and Aided Educational Institutions including teachers on regular time scales of pay for the financial year 2012-2013.

OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: - Grant of Non-Productivity Linked Bonus (ad-hoc bonus) to Central Government Employees for the year 2012-13.

   The undersigned is directed to convey the sanction of the President to the grant of Non-Productivity Linked Bonus (Ad-hoc Bonus) equivalent to 30 days emoluments for the accounting year 2012-13 to the Central Government employees in Groups C’ and D and all non-gazetted employees in Group ‘B’, who are not covered by any Productivity Linked Bonus Scheme. The calculation ceiling for payment of ad-hoc Bonus under these orders shall continue to be monthly emoluments of Rs. 3500/-, as hitherto. The payment of ad-hoc Bonus under these orders will also be admissible to the eligible employees of Central Para Military Forces and Armed Forces. The orders will be deemed to be extended to the employees of Union Territory Administration which follow the Central Government pattern of emoluments and are not covered by any other bonus or ex-gratia scheme.

Read the following :-

ORDER:-

   Government  has decided to grant Adhoc Bonus equivalent to 30 days emoluments on a base of 30 days a month to all regular and temporary Government employees, employees of Local Bodies and Aided Educational Institutions including teachers on regular time scales of pay for the financial year 2011-2012.

   2. Employees in Groups ‘C’ and ‘D’ were paid Adhoc Bonus equivalent to 30 days emoluments subject to a ceiling of Rs.3,000/- during the year 2010-2011. Accordingly, Government direct that all regular and temporary Government employees who are on regular time scales of pay, employees of Local Bodies and Aided Educational Institutions including teachers on regular time scales of pay in ‘C’ and ‘D’ group be paid adhoc bonus equivalent to 30 days emoluments on a base of 30 days a month for the financial year 2011-2012.  The Adhoc Bonus shall be computed on the basis of actual emoluments as on 31st March 2012. The amount of adhoc bonus shall be calculated as if monthly emoluments were Rs.3,000/- per month.  In respect of those drawing pay in the pre-revised / revised scales of pay, the calculation of adhoc bonus shall be based on the emoluments drawn subject to the upper ceiling of Rs.3,000/- (Rupees Three thousand only) per month.  The upper ceiling limit shall be applicable irrespective of whether the emoluments are drawn in the pre-revised or revised scales of pay.

Subject : - Grant of ad-hoc bonus for 30 days to the Group 'C' & 'D' RPF/RPSF personnel for the financial year 2011-2012.

   The President is pleased to decide that all Group 'C' & 'D' RPF/RPSF personnel, may be  granted ad-hoc bonus equivalent to 30 (thirty) days emoluments for the financial year 2011-2012,  without any eligibility wage ceiling. The calculation ceiling of ` 3500/- will remain unchanged.

   2.  The benefit will be admissible subject to the following terms and conditions:-

Subject:- Grant of ad-hoc bonus to State Government employees for the year 2011-12.

   The matter relating to grant of ad-hoc bonus for the financial year 2011-12 to State Government employees has been considered and the Governor is pleased to order that the State Government employees may be granted ad-hoc bonus equivalent to 30 days emoluments for the financial year 2011-12 on the following terms and conditions: -

   (1) Only non gazetted employees who were in service on 31.03.2012 and continued to be in service on 01.04.2012, were drawing pay in the pay scale below 8000-13500 / Grade Pay of Rs.5400/-, as the case may be and who have rendered at least six months of Continuous service during the year 2011-12 will be eligible for payment of ad-hoc bonus under these orders. Ad-hoc bonus equal to 30 days emoluments will be admissible to eligible employees who have rendered continuous service for full year during the year 2011-12. Pro-rata payment will be admissible to the eligible employees for periods of Continuous service during the year ranging from six months to a full year, the eligibility period being taken in terms of number of months or service rounded to the nearest number of months. Rounding to the nearest number of months will, however, not be permissible for service of less than six months.
