Sub: Review of retention of Railway accommodation by Railway Officers/staff on their deputation to Railway PSUs.

   The instructions issued vide Board’s letter of even number dated 01.11.2010, in regard to retention of Railway accommodation at their previous place of posting by officers/staff on deputation to Railway PSUs have been reviewed by the Board.

   2. In exercise of power to make reasonable relaxations in public interest for a class/group of employees, in all or existing provisions regarding house allotment/retention, the full Board have decided to allow retention of Railway accommodation by the Railway officers/staff at their previous place of posting upto 30.06.2014, on their deputation to CONCOR, CRIS, IRCON, IRCTC, IRFC, KRCL, MRVC, RVNL, RCIL, RITES, DFCCIL and RLDA.

   3. The employees on deputation to IRCON and RITES will continue to be governed by the instructions contained at Para 4 of Board’s letter No.E(G) 2006 QR 1-14(A) dated 20.11.2006.

   4. This issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.

   5. Please acknowledge receipt.
